Activities
Mathabo has a background in physical
oceanography and environmental science, with a strong interest in data
science. She currently lectures Marine Science and Marine Technology at
the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
Previously, Mathabo
worked in the marine environmental consulting industry for four years.
She has worked on marine environmental projects in various industries
such as desalination, oil and gas and port developments in South Africa.
Mathabo is skilled in marine environmental research, marine impact
assessments, programming (Python and MATLAB), GIS and report writing.
