Activities
Driven by a strong academic foundation in Oceanography, my research actively spans several critical marine disciplines. In biological oceanography, I evaluated phytoplankton phenology in the northern Bay of Bengal using ocean colour remote sensing (published in Continental Shelf Research). My work in physical oceanography includes analysing extreme weather-induced environmental changes and their impact on marine biogeochemistry for the IIOSC-2025 conference. To address marine ecology, I served as a Research Assistant assessing the impacts of ocean acidification and global warming on coral and mollusc communities at Saint Martin's Island. Currently, I am expanding my work into marine pollution as a Research Associate, analysing heavy metal contamination and ecosystem health in the Karnaphuli River Estuary.

Statistical Tools: Skilled in using SPSS (v.223) for statistical data evaluation.
Programming: Possess practical knowledge and application skills in Python.
Core Computer Skills: Essential knowledge of both basic hardware and software operations.
Language Proficiency: Strong command over reading, writing, and speaking in English.
Comment(s)
I am a driven Oceanography post-graduate student and a National Science and Technology (NST) Fellow. I demonstrate active research expertise across biological oceanography, marine ecology, and marine pollution through published work on phytoplankton phenology, research on ocean acidification impacts, and heavy metal assessments in the Karnaphuli River Estuary. Currently serving as an Intern at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, I pair my technical skills in ArcGIS, SPSS, and Python with strong leadership as the President of the Chittagong University Nature Club.
