I am working as a research fellow at the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata, India, where I am actively investigating the impact of ocean acidification on the estuarine phytoplankton of the coastal Bay of Bengal (BoB), Indian Ocean. The understanding of the response of diatom communities of estuarine mangroves in BoB, such as from Sundarbans, is not well understood from the context of ocean acidification scenarios. I am performing the experimental approaches and interpretation of ocean acidification as a stressor on diatom communities of estuarine mangroves using robust laboratory-based mesocosm experiments.
