I am working as an operational Meteorologist at National Meteorological Center in the Head office, Colombo, 

Main Responsibilities: Liaise with Media and other public utility authorities for mutual operational. Maintaining Tsunami advisory service.

Key Tasks: Issuing weather warnings, advisories and forecasts for land areas and the sea areas around the Sri Lanka. Watch for Tsunami & Earthquake activities and issuing  necessary advisory. Maintaining Tsunami advisory service.
