Summary

An annual "training-through-research" cruise in the Baltic Sea (including a Mid-cruise and Post-cruise seminars) for students from Russia and other countries under the UNESCO/IOC programme. With participation of RV "Persey" parallel with catamaran "Orients"

Notes

Participation of over 40 scientists and students from Angola, Cameroon, Finland, Russia and Zaire. The Mid-Cruise Seminar was arranged by SULA and RSHI and co-sponsored by UNESCO. It took place on Suomenlinna and aboard RV "Persey", with 74 students, researchers and scientists and representatives from UNESCO Headquaters and HELCOM.
