Faculty centres are informal subunits of the faculty, serving the purpose of strategic planning in research and teaching in the respective disciplines. They are formed by voluntary association of the appropriate departments and they have no formal legal status within the organisation plan of the university. Apart from planning tasks, they can be involved n public relations activities to a limited degree.
