Colciencias tiene ahora el reto de coordinar el Sistema Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación -SNCTI, crear sinergias e interacciones para que Colombia cuente con una cultura científica, tecnológica e innovadora; que sus regiones y la población, el sector productivo, profesionales, y no profesionales, estudiantes y docentes de básica, media, pregrado y posgrado, hagan presencia en las estrategias y agendas de investigación y desarrollo. Colciencias now has the challenge of coordinating the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation-SNCTI, creating synergies and interactions to which Colombia has a culture of science, technology and innovation, and that their regions and population, the productive sector, professional and non-professionals, students and teachers of primary, secondary, undergraduate and graduate, make presence in the strategies and research and development agendas.
