The Dominican Republic National Commission for UNESCO is a governmental organization part of the Ministry of Culture and is affiliated with UNESCO with a national and international vocation. The National Commission’s missions embody UNESCO values and objectives in the five work Sectors of UNESCO: Education, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Culture, and Communication & Information, which are realized on a national level with organizations in the Dominican Republic.
