Activities
The work I've been doing for the past months is largely based on the investigation of the surface current. Since that we still don't have the required instrumentation for our surface current observation, we have to improvise in many ways to achieve our goals. However, as an oceanographer, I will be looking to expand on what I'm currently doing to a bigger and better field job to get more data, especially on sea surface temperature in situ data and so forth.
Skills
The skills I have are mostly field observation skills such as, how to deploy instruments like CTD, Sonder, Echosounder, ADCP, etc to get the required data for particular research. in addition to that is my computational skills on Matlab, Arc Map and so forth which I use a lot to do data analysis.
