Activities

The core of my research interests is experimental ecology, particularly in the use of the macroalgal assemblages and coastal habitats as a model systems to develop and test ecological theories. Currently my research focus in: 

- Studies on the impacts of global changes on coastal ecosystems, namely the impacts of climate change and biological invasions.

- Studies on the ecological patterns of diversity in coastal communities and their functional consequences.
