We are developing a noise exposure metric based on biological thresholds with the objective of using metric to establish ocean noise criteria to be used around human enterprises in the ocean. The larger objective is to promote bio-acoustically benign technologies around human enterprises in the ocean. We are also involved in informing ocean policy development around ocean noise pollution issues.
