1. Having Professional Experience in Artificial Insemination and produced more than 5,000 cross-bred calves. Moreover, treated and saved the life of more than 20,000 sick animals over a period of five years service in the state government as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. Further, contributed to animals’ health care by Vaccination, Extension & Administration.
2. Expertise in doing Gross & Histopathology of Reproductive System of She-buffalo.
3. Studied the prevalence of WSSV, IHHNV, YHV and GAV and epidemiology of shrimp and fish diseases in West Bengal using PCR techniques.
4. Identified Irido viral infection in finfishes using PCR techniques.
5. Isolation and identification of the pathogenic Vibrio species from shrimp and fish culture ponds and their association with WSSV infection.
6. Microbial dynamics of shrimp, Penaeus monodon and polyculture system in Sunderban, India.
7. Digestive enzyme status and enzyme producing bacterial flora in the digestive tract of brackishwater finfishes.
8. Characterization of potential cellulolytic bacteria by 16SrDNA, isolated from digestive tract of Asian seabass and milk fish.
9. Characterized the follistatin gene from the muscle of zebra fish, Danio rerio using PCR and 3’ RACE techniques.
