2005 - 2008. Participated as a M.Sc. student in the Transboundary networks of marine protected areas for integrated conservation and sustainable development: biophysical, socio-economic and governance assessment in East Africa (TRANSMAP) project.
1999 - 2000. Contributed to the development of the Tanzania Coastal Management Partnership (TCMP) Unit through mapping and monitoring of coastal natural resources using GIS and Remote Sensing.

07th December 2017. Appointed by the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Hon. Luhaga Joelson Mpina to be a member of sub-committee to assess and monitor the loss of government income and revenue from fisheries sector particularly in Lake Victoria.
