Quality controlled extensions of ODIS-Arch are now needed to allow ODIS nodes to exchange (meta)data about further thematic areas, such as projects, infrastructures, and data products suitable for use as GOOS Essential Ocean Variables. Subsequent tasks needed to fully leverage development of new patterns include testing the compatibility of these patterns with the existing architecture, making links between the patterns, and training partner nodes to independently suggest modifications to ODIS-Arch (via our publicly available code repository).
